Everyone should pick up Dia’s album. I wrote about her a while back, and again, she’s one of the most talented and humble people I know. Long story short, I was out on Warped Tour with her band a few years ago, and she was the runner-up on NBC’s “The Voice” last year. “Red” was released today on Universal Republic Records and it’s got some awesome music on it! Check it out!
This is a picture of me and Dia, a member of the band Meg & Dia, whom I was briefly out on tour with two years ago.
Dia is now competing on NBC’s The Voice as part of Blake Shelton’s team, and made it through to the semi-finals tonight! I talked to her the other day and while I haven’t seen her in a while, she hasn’t changed one bit. I think anyone who has met her will tell you that she’s the most down to earth person you could meet. I think she’s well on her way to reaching her dream, but if you’re not convinced, watch her performance and I’m sure you’ll be fan. She’s incredibly talented, humble, and hard working; Dia deserves all the success in the world and I couldn’t be more happy for her.
